Veteran Students At ESTEEM
The ESTEEM Graduate Program is grateful for the military service of our country's Airmen, Coast Guardsmen, Marines, Sailors, and Soldiers. In addition to the scholarships offered by ESTEEM, U.S. Veterans are often able to fund their degree with benefits from the GI Bill. In addition, the Yellow Ribbon Program, enacted by Congress and run by the Veterans Administration, is a matching program that authorizes significant educational benefits to eligible U.S. veterans.
Assuming a 100% benefit level, the financial picture for eligible veterans is as follows for 2021–2022:
Graduate Tuition and Fees | ($58,663) |
GI Bill tuition funding | $26,043 |
VA Yellow Ribbon funding | $16,310 |
ND Yellow Ribbon funding | $16,310 |
TOTAL TUITION AND FEES COST AFTER GI BILL AND YELLOW RIBBON FUNDING | $0 |
In addition to tuition assistance, veterans may be eligible for up to $1251 as a monthly housing stipend and $1000 towards books and supplies. All together, this means that a veteran student could attend ESTEEM with little to no out of pocket expenses.
