McCloskey New Venture Competition

The McCloskey New Venture Competition is equal parts startup incubator and pitch competition, culminating in awards that help fuel innovations and bring entrepreneurial ventures to life.

Open to all current students at Notre Dame and Saint Mary’s, the McCloskey Competition helps test and launch forward-thinking projects by offering opportunities for collaboration, pitching, mentorship, critique and – in many cases – the investment of funds or resources.

In addition to building essential business skills in real time, teams have the unique opportunity to interact with judges and mentors, many of whom are accomplished entrepreneurs, angel investors, venture capitalists and startup experts.

As the competition progresses, students gain insight into what it takes to successfully develop, refine and present their ideas in a high-stakes business environment while building valuable professional relationships with leaders in the startup world.
