The current healthcare staffing system is grappling with an inefficient and insecure credentialing process. Healthcare professionals submit and update credentials (licenses, certifications) through a fragmented, non-secure approach. This process, involving over 20 million employees and frequent updates, creates inefficiency, security risks, and compliance challenges. For instance, hospitals waste valuable time verifying the legitimacy of credentials, while healthcare professionals endure frustration as they repeatedly submit the same documents to different agencies. This outdated system also exposes sensitive credentialing data to breaches due to the lack of secure storage and transfer protocols.

ARMstaffing (ARMS), a subsidiary of Allied Resources Group (ARG), aims to transform this landscape by developing a secure, potentially blockchain-powered credentialing portal. The project's goal is to validate the business opportunity and develop a roadmap for creating a best-in-class platform. By addressing key questions about blockchain's suitability, development costs, market demand, competition, and user buy-in, the project will pave the way for ARMS to become a leader in secure and efficient healthcare credentialing, ultimately benefiting all industry players.
