Scientist.com is the world’s largest AI-powered marketplace for scientific research – allowing researchers to save both time and money while making breakthrough discoveries. However, there remains an opportunity to expand Scientist.com’s brand by building a platform which effectively promotes thought leadership in the research community. Instead of only being a resource for scientists hoping to speed up contracted research, Scientist.com is looking to become the single, localized site for everything scientific researchers need – ranging from marketplace transactions to access to new, relevant information. After examining the best practices of user experience and user interaction design, it will be determined what the best way to serve the needs of both Scientist.com (in terms of revenue associated with advertising and brand recognition) and scientific researchers around the world (in terms of knowledge/information flow and professional development), and these best practices will lead to the implementation and launch of a successful online connected community. By housing all collaborative efforts of scientific research under the Scientist.com brand, Scientist.com will be at the center of what drives effective and innovative research, thus becoming a powerhouse in the industry.
