It involves designing a user-friendly system and a corresponding app to streamline food waste disposal for residents. The system will feature advanced technologies to monitor waste volumes and sources, ensuring efficient collection methods and providing valuable data. The app will facilitate user access, promote engagement, and incentivize proper waste disposal practices. The ultimate goal is to achieve significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, increase the production of valuable compost for farmers, and create sustainable jobs within the community. The project includes market analysis, business model development, prototyping, and user research to ensure a successful and impactful implementation.
