The Capstone Project at Vital View Technologies (VVT) involves assessing market opportunities for their innovative platform based on Radio Frequency (RF) Polarization Mode Dispersion (PMD) technology within the Human Exercise and Performance sector. VVT’s beachhead product, VitalSense, is an at-home non-contact connected health monitor for chronically ill patients. This capstone project focuses on expanding this technology's application for sports performance, particularly addressing hydration needs. The deliverables include a detailed market analysis, financial projections, and a comprehensive commercialization strategy. By engaging with stakeholders from various sectors and levels of sports, the project aims to uncover critical pain points and opportunities for VVT’s technology. This project provides the opportunity to integrate advanced technology with sports science to significantly impact athletes’ hydration management and transform the sports industry.
