BioPharmCatalyst is a subscription-based platform for stock market investors within the biotechnology & pharmaceutical industries. It is one of the most trusted portals for information related to biotech stocks in the industry with 3,000 paying subscribers and 50,000 newsletter subscribers. The site includes several tools that allow investors to analyze the current market landscape such as an FDA calendar, a PDUFA calendar, a cash database, an earnings calendar, and more. BioPharmCatalyst has traditionally had a business model built on B2C capabilities, but is looking to tap into the B2B market. The goal of the capstone project is to gain insight into the potential B2B market within the asset manager and pharmaceutical investing industries. With a greater understanding of the B2B market, a confident decision can be made as to whether or not BioPharmCatalyst should enter into the market.
