Sponsor: Lockheed Martin, Bethesda, MD
Lockheed Martin, the world’s largest defense contractor, is known for its groundbreaking work in advanced technology and innovation. Within the company, the Advanced Technology Laboratories (ATL) serve as agile research hubs developing new technologies for various applications. One of the critical areas of focus is AI-generated media forensics, addressing the surge in AI-generated content that poses significant challenges in verifying media authenticity.
This capstone project centers on creating a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for these advanced forensic tools, which analyze text, audio, video, and images to verify their authenticity. As AI-generated content proliferates, developing reliable solutions for digital security markets, national security agencies, law enforcement, news outlets, and legal professionals becomes increasingly essential.
This project will involve an extensive technology review, market analysis, and strategic recommendations for commercializing the new technology. The student will collaborate with Lockheed Martin's experts to ensure that the tools are not only effective but also commercially viable.
This project is an exciting opportunity to address a critical issue in today's digital landscape. By combining expertise in economics, psychology, and business development, the student aims to create impactful and market-ready AI forensics solutions.
