Capstone Project Abstract:

Ipsos MMA is a leading provider of advanced marketing measurement and optimization solutions for global brands. This capstone project explores the development of an AI-powered system, Project Helios, that enables real-time, autonomous marketing activation in response to emerging market signals.

To achieve this, the student will design and prototype a three-part agentic AI system: a Sensing Engine to detect trends, a Decision Engine to simulate strategic responses, and an Action Engine to generate, adjust and launch marketing campaigns. Through technical development, stakeholder interviews, and validation in simulated environments, the project will deliver actionable insights and frameworks to help Ipsos MMA accelerate innovation in responsive, data-driven marketing

Why did you choose ESTEEM?

With a background in Actuarial and Financial Studies, I developed a strong foundation in data, analytics, predictive modelling and quantitative problem-solving. But where my true passion lies is in being able to use those skills to create real-world impact. Over the past few years, I’ve immersed myself in the entrepreneurial space, from organizing Ireland’s largest student-run entrepreneurship competition to competing in global finals at the world's largest student startup competition. I’ve seen first-hand how innovation can transform lives. That’s why I chose ESTEEM: its “learning by doing” philosophy perfectly matches my approach to turning ideas into action. At ESTEEM, I’m excited to bridge the gap between technical insight and commercial execution, and to join a community where ambition, innovation, and impact go hand-in-hand.

What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?

After ESTEEM, I hope to work at the intersection of technology and finance, developing data-driven, AI-enabled solutions that address complex challenges in both industries. I’m passionate about using innovation to create smarter, more accessible systems, whether in healthcare, financial services, or venture building. My background in actuarial and financial studies not only equipped me with strong analytical and quantitative skills, but also sparked a deep interest in financial systems, risk modeling, and strategic decision-making. I aim to combine this foundation with the entrepreneurial and technical expertise gained through ESTEEM to drive innovation in areas like fintech, health-tech, or impact-focused investing, bringing scalable, meaningful solutions to market.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I love playing the guitar and piano. I’m also a big sports enthusiast. I’ve played Gaelic football, basketball, handball, and athletics at local, national, and international levels, most recently competing in the World Handball Championship.

Beyond sport and music, I’m super passionate about my work in the allergy space. Over the past few years, I’ve given talks across Europe for leading allergy organizations, helped set up national networks and initiatives for allergy support, and most recently founded a med-tech startup focused on life-saving detection tools for allergy patients.
