Capstone Project Abstract

Klear Bio is focusing on evaluating the commercialization strategy and market opportunity for KLR-003, a novel therapeutic antibody candidate designed to target key inflammatory and immunological pathways. To establish a clear path toward clinical development, this project involves conducting a comprehensive market assessment, analyzing potential therapeutic indications, and designing an optimal indication sequencing strategy. By identifying the lead indication and follow-on clinical applications for KLR-003, this work aims to maximize both the therapeutic impact and commercial viability of Klear Bio’s product.
This project is particularly exciting because it sits directly at the intersection of complex immunology and high-stakes strategic decision-making. Therapeutics targeting immune and inflammatory pathways have the potential to transform care for diseases with significant unmet medical need. Being able to engage directly with clinical experts, analyze the biological mechanisms alongside market dynamics, and help shape the commercial roadmap for a promising asset like KLR-003 from the ground up is an incredibly rewarding experience that bridges the gap between laboratory science and patient care.

Why did you choose ESTEEM?

I chose ESTEEM to build a bridge between my background in neuroscience and the strategic commercialization required to bring life-saving therapeutics from the lab to patients. While conducting immunology and infectious disease research during my undergraduate years at Notre Dame, I realized that scientific breakthroughs can only achieve their full impact when paired with viable business strategies, market positioning, and clear execution pathways. ESTEEM provides me with the necessary skills to develop the entrepreneurial mindset needed to translate innovation into accessible, real-world health solutions.

What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?

Following ESTEEM, I plan to pursue a career as a physician, applying to medical school after gaining industry and commercialization experience. My goal is to work at the intersection of clinical medicine, biotechnology, and healthcare strategy- using a deep understanding of both patient care and therapeutic translation to advocate for patient-centered innovation and expanded access to novel therapies.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy running, going for walks around campus lakes, and reading. I am a huge coffee enthusiast and love spend time catching up with friends and family.
