Why did you choose ESTEEM?

I chose to come to ESTEEM to complement my technical engineering background with the world of entrepreneurship. The ESTEEM program’s unique integration of engineering, business acumen, and innovative problem-solving aligns perfectly with my professional trajectory. The curriculum promises not only to enhance my capabilities in technical execution but also to refine my strategic thinking, enabling me to lead complex projects that span technological and business domains. Through immersive project work and interaction with accomplished faculty and peers, I anticipate gaining insights that will catalyze my growth as an innovator at the forefront of technology.

What is your capstone project?

The capstone project at KC Can Compost focuses on developing a comprehensive solution to reduce consumer food waste through innovative technology and community engagement. It involves designing a user-friendly system and a corresponding app to streamline food waste disposal for residents. The system will feature advanced technologies to monitor waste volumes and sources, ensuring efficient collection methods and providing valuable data. The app will facilitate user access, promote engagement, and incentivize proper waste disposal practices. The ultimate goal is to achieve significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, increase the production of valuable compost for farmers, and create sustainable jobs within the community. The project includes market analysis, business model development, prototyping, and user research to ensure a successful and impactful implementation.

What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?

After ESTEEM, I hope to pursue a career in the tech industry, aiming to be at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies and giving back to my community through the development and commercialization of novel products that can change lives. I am eager to immerse myself in the world of entrepreneurship, leveraging the skills and experiences gained from ESTEEM to innovate and drive impactful solutions. The intersection of technology and business excites me, and I plan to use my technical expertise in the most impactful way, bridging the gap between innovation and practical application. By developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies, I aspire to create solutions that address real-world problems and contribute meaningfully to society.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy painting portraits, dancing to Bollywood songs, playing badminton, and watching movies. I also love learning to cook new continental dishes and hosting
dinners for family and friends.
