Why did you choose ESTEEM?
I chose to apply to ESTEEM to complement my legal background and corporate work experience with the world of innovation. The ethos of both the program and Notre Dame really resonated with me, in being a "Force for Good." I feel that the program will assist me in creating a positive impact on my community at home, and society as a whole. The ESTEEM program is the perfect intersection of entrepreneurship and STEM, and will benefit me greatly in advancing my technical skills and business acumen.
What is your capstone project?
BI Incorporated is the largest and most complete provider of electronic monitoring products and services, with over 40 years of service, catering to governmental agencies from county to the federal level. BI aims to explore other markets outside the community corrections space to provide technology for secure, reliable location acquisition solutions for adjacent markets. The project will include an executive summary explaining the needs and opportunities identified, comprehensive liaising with relevant agencies, a summary of applicable data privacy laws to operate in international markets and regions, and a comprehensive list of user requirements for each use case.
What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?
After ESTEEM I hope to pursue a career that would enable me to continue on with Notre Dame's "Force for Good" ethos, be that in a charity or NGO.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I love to travel, run, lift weights, and hang out with my friends.
