Capstone Project Abstract:
Primefocus Health is an innovative health technology company focused on transforming how healthcare providers deliver remote care for chronic conditions. The traditional healthcare landscape is rapidly evolving to a point where patient outcomes and cost-effectiveness are paramount. This capstone project aims to strategically position Primefocus Health to thrive in this new environment. The project will assess the evolving market for remote patient management, analyzing how new payment models impact healthcare providers, and identifying the key capabilities and business model adjustments necessary for success. We will explore how the company's digital platform, which enables customized care plans, personalized modules, and seamless integration with existing provider systems, can deliver measurable patient outcomes while reducing overall healthcare costs.
Why did you choose ESTEEM?
Growing up in Northwest Indiana, I always felt a natural connection to Notre Dame, where some of my favorite memories involved visiting campus with family and friends. While studying at Wabash College, I became increasingly interested in healthcare and using my skills to make a meaningful impact. After gaining hands-on experience in clinical settings, I realized I was more drawn to the innovation and problem-solving side of the field than the traditional path of becoming a doctor. That shift in direction led me to the ESTEEM program, which stood out for its real-world focus, collaborative environment, and unique position at the intersection of science, technology, and business, all in a place that’s long felt familiar.
What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?
After ESTEEM, I’m looking to join a high-impact team in healthcare, biotech, or medtech where I can help bring innovative solutions to market and improve patient outcomes. My goal is to utilize the skills and insights gained from the ESTEEM program to drive innovation and strategic growth within dynamic business settings, all while making healthcare more efficient and effective for everyone. With a background in biology and experience across medical sales, hospital operations, marketing, and legal strategy, I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned at the intersection of science, technology, and entrepreneurship to solve meaningful problems in the healthcare space.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy golfing, working out, and spending time with family and friends. And for better or worse, cheering on the Chicago Bears and White Sox.
