Why did you choose ESTEEM?

I chose ESTEEM because of my passion for science, innovation, and helping others. ESTEEM utilizes a uniquely immersive approach to entrepreneurship and innovation that stood out to me, and I am excited to learn how to apply business techniques to my tech background to find meaningful solutions.

What is your Capstone Project and why are you excited about it?

The Systems Integration Services (SIS-NA) group wishes to monetize productivity tools for the Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI) business. JCI offers the world's largest portfolio of building technology and software as well as service solutions to promote smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings. The SIS-NA group at JCI is a focused group within Global Products that provides support to the field offices to integrate third-party hardware or software systems to JCI's flagship building automation system, Metasys.

The student will identify top few critical opportunities to accelerate revenue, effectively articulate what value the SIS-NA team delivers for JCI field offices, and identify a set of processes that will improve the efficiency of the SIS-NA team. Ultimately, the student will lead in the development of the go-to-market and communications launch plan for those identified high priority projects within the SIS-NA team.

What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?

I hope to be working in an environment that fosters learning and creativity and has a positive impact. My eventual goal is to start my own company.

What do you like to do in your free time?

When I have free time I love to swim, hike, or just be in nature. I also love hanging out with friends, family, and my dog.
