Why did you choose ESTEEM?

I chose ESTEEM because while I enjoyed doing research, my long term career goal is to lead projects in business that utilize technologies to solve real-world problems. I also realized a significant gap between technical advancements and the business world. I aim to take the role of bridging this gap with my academic background in engineering and my innovation skills. ESTEEM offers lots of resources and support for you to learn and practice launching business projects.

What is your capstone project?

This capstone project will help Ascend Learning explore how to enhance the data collection efficiency and forecasting accuracy in their ATI Nursing Education region with generative AI. Ascend Learning is a leading educational technology company specializing in tailored learning solutions, software, and analytics for healthcare, fitness, public safety, and other regulated sectors. Generative AI has been revolutionizing various fields due to its dynamic and adaptive nature. The student will conduct comprehensive research and interviews, and evaluate various ML algorithms to determine a plan for generative AI integration in their business operations addressing forecasting accuracy, and providing detailed recommendations and prototypes.

What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?

After ESTEEM I hope to work in a tech company where I can leverage my passion in science and technology, my leadership and my interest in translating cutting-edge technologies to solutions for realistic problems.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I like outdoors activities such as long-distance running, hiking. I also love MMA (wish there was an MMA club in ND), watching videos or reading about politics and history.
