Why did you choose ESTEEM?

In STEM research, I found that I wanted to do more than just create findings, I wanted to use those findings to improve the world. I chose ESTEEM to further explore my passion for problem-solving with social impact. My work experience ranges from start-ups to corporations, but I never got to experience the process of taking a product from ideation to external launch. Through ESTEEM, I get that valuable hands-on experience not just as part of the journey, but leading it.

What is your capstone project?

OnaWave Medical is a medical technology company focused on innovations in women’s health, specifically diagnosis and treatment of chronic pelvic conditions. This capstone project aims to assess the market opportunity and provide a commercialization plan in the US for their novel device, EndoSolve.

EndoSolve is a non-invasive, wearable device to diagnose endometriosis and other pelvic health conditions. It will reduce the diagnosis time from the average amount of ten doctor’s visits down to just one by leveraging AI to analyze symptoms. This technology offers an accurate, non-invasive method of diagnostic testing, which will improve the diagnostic experience, inform treatment plans, and improve patient outcomes overall.

What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?

After ESTEEM, I am interested in pursuing venture capital or product management. I want to work at the forefront of innovations that create social impact. At some point, I'd like to start a company of my own, whether that's during ESTEEM or after.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, watching F1, and Pilates. I'm also a big foodie (find me on Beli) and love trying and learning about different cuisines!
