Capstone Project Abstract:

GameRun is an AI-powered athlete performance analysis platform that leverages a proprietary visual language model (VLM) to deliver instant feedback from raw video footage, eliminating the need for specialized video equipment, wearables, or manual tagging. Trained on proprietary datasets by Olympic and professional coaches, the VLM enables GameRun to scale faster and more efficiently than traditional systems. This capstone project focuses on strengthening the company’s capital readiness and refining its go-to-market strategy ahead of its rollout across ice hockey, fencing, soccer, and baseball. The student’s role includes investor targeting, pitch deck development, and conducting user interviews to validate pricing and shape market adoption strategies. Through this work, the student is contributing to the advancement of AI-driven tools that are transforming how athletes train and improve.

Why did you choose ESTEEM?

I chose ESTEEM because I wanted to build on my background in sports science and learn how to turn ideas into solutions that make a real impact. I’ve always been drawn to ideas at the intersection of sports, health, and technology, but I knew that turning those ideas into something impactful would require a deeper understanding of business, innovation, and product development. ESTEEM offered a hands-on environment where I could develop those skills while working on meaningful projects, surrounded by a community of people equally passionate about solving real-world problems.

What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?

After ESTEEM, I plan to pursue a path that allows me to merge my background in sports science with my passion for innovation, technology, and human performance. I’m especially interested in opportunities at the intersection of sports, healthcare, and technology. That could mean launching my own venture, contributing to a performance-focused startup, or joining a company that’s transforming how people train, recover, and live healthier lives. I also intend to continue my journey toward medical school with the long-term goal of practicing sports medicine and building a multidisciplinary clinic that brings together rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and performance data under one roof. Whatever direction I take, I’m focused on applying what I’ve learned to make meaningful, measurable impact.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy playing golf, listening to music, watching stand-up comedy, traveling, and spending time with friends.
