Capstone Project Abstract:

Arbor Energy aims to generate gigawatts of clean, dependable power for society while removing gigatons of legacy carbon emissions from the atmosphere. Arbor is driven to protect the planet and meet the increasing global demand for baseload power. With a background in aerospace engineering and using advanced space technology, the team is building a sustainable future for generations to come. This capstone project focuses on expanding Arbor’s customer profile into new market segments. ICF International projects the U.S. electricity demand will increase by 25% by 2030. This is a rate of change significantly steeper than what has been seen over the past decade. The project will involve a comprehensive technology review, in-depth market analysis and segmentation, the development of a go-to-market strategy, identification of high-value product features, and a thorough competitive landscape assessment.

Why did you choose ESTEEM?

I chose ESTEEM to enhance my technical background with entrepreneurial skills and business acumen.
The program’s focus on innovation, commercialization, and leadership aligns well with my long-term goals of building or supporting ventures that solve large-scale problems. The ESTEEM curriculum will have me work on hands-on projects that force me to apply what I learn in the classroom. Ultimately, ESTEEM will open career paths that draw my passion for solving problems through technology-driven ventures

What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?

I hope that after ESTEEM I will be a powerful Force For Good in the world. I’m passionate about the early stages of venture creation. I would like to launch or support ventures that address large-scale problems. I want to do anything where I build something that matters and leaves a lasting mark on society.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy running, soccer, hiking, chess, science fiction, and being in the sun.
