Why I chose ESTEEM:
The motto of “fix things that matter” really resonated with me. For the first time, someone put into words what I had been looking for in a career/graduate program. I believe in the importance of innovation not just for the sake of new ideas but to solve really problems and have a positive impact on the world we live in.
My capstone thesis project and why I'm excited about it:
My thesis involves developing a methodology to quantify the impacts of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) investments across multiple financial asset classes. This work will help people to better understand ESG investments and take control of their future finances while promoting a more sustainable future.
What I hope to do after ESTEEM:
I am really interested in the creation of a more sustainable world. After ESTEEM, I want to carry the mentality of having an impact with me and work to create stronger systems which facilitate sustainable environmental, economic and social development in both local and global communities.
What I like to do when I'm not working:
I’d love to spend my time in the mountains, hiking and exploring, but since we are in the middle of Indiana, I have to settle for exploring the beautiful campus and nearby parks! I also love cooking, reading sci-fi, watching HGTV, and gardening. I currently have a small herb garden and a tomato plant in my apartment!
