Why I chose ESTEEM:
ESTEEM teaches tangible skills for identifying and acting on problems. I knew I wanted to build programs and projects that could help communities but didn't know how. ESTEEM provides an environment for me to learn and test new skills that I can apply to entrepreneurship adventures going forward!
My capstone project and why I'm excited about it:
I'm working with AddEvent to explore growth opportunities and build a marketing strategy. AddEvent is a calendar management and marketing SAAS that made the Add-To-Calendar button. The team is amazing, and getting to work with them means that I get hands on experience in a startup working with a team I love to build great things. Everyone has great capstone projects, but I have the best capstone project!
What I hope to do after ESTEEM:
My immediate goal after ESTEEM is to work with a startup and continue to gain experience in the startup sphere so I can build up a body of knowledge and experience to help me build projects in the future. The dream is to be a serial entrepreneur in the social entrepreneurship space and help mindfully and respectfully build good for communities.
What I like to do when I'm not working:
Number one activity when not working (or even when working) is cuddling with my dog. She's the best. Cooking is pretty great. I love exploring new places and getting to really dive in and experience the flavor of a city. Tree climbing is also an excellent activity.
And, finally:
Stracciatella gelato is amazing and you should go out and try it.
