Capstone Project Abstract:

DCI Marketing, part of Marmon Holdings, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, works with some of the most well-known automotive brands to create retail experiences that blend physical design with digital strategy. DCI focuses on helping dealerships connect with customers through high-impact touchpoints that bring brand stories to life inside the showroom and ultimately drive sales.

This project is focused on transforming how automotive accessories are sold at car dealerships across the U.S. While consumers overwhelmingly purchase accessories within the first 120 days of vehicle ownership, dealerships capture less than 10% of this $205B market. This project is seeking to uncover the structural, behavioral, and economic barriers limiting accessory sales within dealerships. The outcome of this project will be a data-driven strategy that enhances accessory visibility and drives customer engagement.

Why did you choose ESTEEM?

At the age of 17, I started my first business selling homemade cookies to people in my hometown. At 18, I was accepted into the Startup Moxie program, where I founded my first nonprofit, S.T.E.P. (Sex Trafficking Education & Prevention). During this program, I had the opportunity to tour Innovation Park in its early stages and was absolutely inspired by the impactful problems being tackled by ESTEEM students. This experience ignited my dream of one day joining the ESTEEM program. Today, I’m proud to say I am part of a force for good, committed to solving meaningful problems and making a difference here at the University of Notre Dame.

What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?

After ESTEEM I hope to work in project management for a tech company.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy playing golf and tennis, skiing in the winter, and photography.
