Capstone Project Abstract

Women’s Care Center is the largest, most life-saving pregnancy center in the country, with 39 centers across 12 states and more than 45,000 unique women served in the last year alone. As a nonprofit, Women’s Care Center provides free services and support to pregnant women and their families—from the moment a woman discovers she is pregnant until she sends her little one off to kindergarten.This project will focus on determining how the organization can accelerate the speed at which new centers achieve awareness, client volume, donor support, and strong local leadership.In particular, the student will explore how to build strong local donor support through community champions, identify exceptional directors and development leaders in new markets, and effectively build awareness among and reach the women we are called to serve. The student will produce a go-to-market strategy for future centers, identify key performance indicators to improve center launch outcomes, and develop a financial model to forecast the impact of investment strategies on new centers.

Why did you choose ESTEEM?

I came to ESTEEM to refine my current skill set for a modern business environment. I hope, through ESTEEM, to take my technical skills I obtained in an academic environment and leverage them for industrial applicability.

What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?

I hope to work in a Data Science or Data Analytics field following graduation. I hope to use my statistics and data skills to create valuable and actionable insights in my future roles.
