Why did you choose ESTEEM?

By immersing myself in ESTEEM, I hope to make my educational background more well-rounded and combine my neuroscience background and healthcare experience with my finance education. I aim to bridge the gaps in my knowledge and prepare myself for the dynamic challenges of the healthcare industry. I hope to gain a deeper understanding of technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship that will allow me to leverage these tools to drive positive change in the healthcare system in the future. Following the completion of this program, I am confident that I will be well-equipped to make a lasting impact in the healthcare industry and contribute to the betterment of society.

What is your capstone project?

AngelEye Health is improving neonatal and pediatric outcomes through their evidence-based, family-centered care platform. From admission to discharge and beyond, the comprehensive platform facilitates family engagement, care coordination, and workflow optimization, providing measurable results for families, patients, and care teams. With nearly 250 hospital partners and technology at 7,000+ bedsides, AngelEye has the unique ability to significantly impact neonatal and pediatric care.

AngelEye Health’s capstone project is strategically focused on building the go-to-market strategy of novel multi-sensor biomarkers developed to triage risk factors in newborns. Through artificial intelligence and robust clinical research, this project aims to be the first automated, multi-sensor tool to support care teams to assess, identify, and support early detection pathways in newborns. In addition to go to market activities, this student will be an integrated member of AngelEye Health’s multidisciplinary team and participate in clinical and development activities.

What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?

Following ESTEEM, I plan to work in healthcare or clinical research to gain hands-on experience and deepen my understanding of the medical field. During this time, I hope to enhance my skills and knowledge of medicine, while strengthening and completing my application to medical school as I pursue my goal of becoming a physician.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy being active and traveling around the world. I love exploring new places, restaurants, and stores with friends.
