Capstone Project Abstract

Ideal Tridon Group (ITG) is a global leader in designing and developing engineered joining, connecting, and flow control solutions across various industries. In biopharmaceutical manufacturing, there is a rapid shift away from traditional stainless steel equipment and towards Single-Use Technologies (SUT). SUT systems utilize pre-sterilized, disposable plastic components that eliminate cross-contamination, reduce cleaning costs, and accelerate batch turnaround times.

This capstone project will develop a strategic growth plan for ITG’s expansion into the SUT market. The student will evaluate how bioprocessing manufacturers are achieving scale with SUT and how purchasing routes and supply chain dynamics differ between SUT and traditional stainless systems. Additionally, the student will analyze which sales channels (including digital platforms), regulatory and certification requirements, and strategic mergers & acquisitions can accelerate ITG’s market entry and global adoption.

Why did you choose ESTEEM?

I joined the ESTEEM program to bridge the gap between complex science and real-world impact. Combining my biochemistry background with ESTEEM’s hands-on approach to business strategy and commercialization allows me to translate technical concepts into market-ready solutions. I am eager to leverage my passion for learning and collaboration by working alongside driven peers and industry leaders to turn groundbreaking innovations into successful ventures.

What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?

After ESTEEM, I plan to pursue a career that aligns business strategy with cutting-edge science across the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Whether through strategic consulting, business development, or commercializing emerging therapies, I am open to various healthcare-related paths where I can drive meaningful human impact.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy staying active through long walks, going to the beach, and baking. Most of all, I love spending quality time with family and friends.
