Why did you choose ESTEEM?

I chose ESTEEM because I have always wanted to incorporate entrepreneurship into my career after being around my family's businesses all of my life. So, while looking to take business courses on the side, I found out about ESTEEM through a professor of mine at King's College.

What is your Capstone Project and why are you excited about it?

Kupros, a service-disabled veteran owned startup, is disrupting the additive manufacturing industry with their flagship product, Cu-29. This all-metal conductive filament is eighty times more conductive than its closest competitor and is compatible with most common FFF/FDM 3D printers, eliminating the need for expensive specialized printers. This capstone project aims to lay out the steps for employing a network of veteran owned small businesses, collectively 3D printing antennas and circuit boards for major contracts from defense primes and the Department of Defense. The main deliverable for this project will be an implementation plan for this distributed additive manufacturing network.

What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?

After ESTEEM, while I aspire to get involved in a start-up at some point, I see myself gaining experience in the mechanical engineering field right after graduation. I'd also like to take my FE exam soon and maybe get my PE in the future. My ultimate dream though is to build my own start-up in the outdoors industry.

What do you like to do in your free time?

When I'm not working or studying I like to spend time with family and friends. Past this, I love fishing, boating/watersports, and playing the guitar.
