Capstone Project Abstract:

This Capstone Project is focused on acquiring key insights from the Data Center industry to understand how NIBCO can best innovate on their extensive line of high quality products. Data centers represent a pivotal and rapidly expanding key target market for NIBCO, fueled by their continued double-digit growth and increasing demand for highly specialized mechanical infrastructure. As an industry leader with over 120 years of expertise in flow control solutions, NIBCO stands at a significant juncture, poised to expand its presence within this highly technical and crucial sector. The project's core objective is to provide NIBCO with a comprehensive understanding of the data center market's specific valve needs, illuminate untapped growth opportunities, conduct a thorough competitive analysis, and strategically outline pathways for NIBCO to establish a prominent leadership position in this critical niche. This project directly addresses a significant strategic challenge for a long-standing industrial leader. It involves translating complex market dynamics and technical requirements into actionable insights that will guide NIBCO's future product development and market strategy. Contributing to a tangible roadmap that can help a company adapt and expand into a vital, high-growth sector of the global economy is incredibly rewarding and offers a unique opportunity to apply strategic thinking to a real-world business challenge.

Why did you choose ESTEEM?

I chose ESTEEM because I wanted a hands-on, vocational approach to entrepreneurship — one grounded not just in theory, but in real-world execution. I was also drawn to Notre Dame’s unique balance of pragmatic business thinking and deeply held values, which aligns with how I aspire to build and lead.

What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?

I hope to stay on in America and work, establishing myself and eventually starting my own company.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I like to read, gym, socialise and also (from time to time) act as Dungeon Master for my friends.
