Class of 2019-2020
University of Notre Dame, 2019
Why I chose ESTEEM:
I have always wanted to apply my passion for innovation to solve important problems and disturb existing industries. I believe the curriculum at ESTEEM will allow me to explore entrepreneurship and act as a gateway to acquire new technical skills, and hopefully provide a path to fulfill my long term goals.
My capstone project and why I am excited about it:
For my capstone project I have the honor of working alongside Lippert Components, the leading supplier of components to the recreational vehicle and residential housing industries. My goal is to look at how blockchain and other emerging technologies can be used to streamline the way service history data is shared across the recreational vehicle industry, and improve customer experience.
I am beyond excited to work for such an innovative company, and becoming more apt with blockchain technology. I also cannot wait to deep dive into an industry I am not familiar with, and learn from Lippert’s talented team.
What I hope to do after ESTEEM:
After ESTEEM, I would like to work for a small fast-growing company that utilizes emerging technologies like artificial intelligence to creatively tackle problems related to inefficiency. I also hope the work I do will have a positive impact on future generations and will promote environmental sustainability.
What I like to do when I’m not working:
When I’m not struggling on assignments, I like to read nonfiction, take online courses, go to happy hour with friends, watch Netflix, dance, dance, and dance. Oh yeah, I also like to dance. Finally, you can find me embarrassing myself on the basketball court with my “baller” classmates.
