Why I chose ESTEEM:

I believed ESTEEM would give me the ability to view problems from a new perspective.

My capstone project and why I'm excited about it:

I am working with Professor Tengfei Luo to explore the commercialization of a new graphene composite (PE graphene) that he and his colleagues have recently finished developing. Graphene is one of the strongest materials to be discovered and it stands to revolutionize the aerospace, automotive, and athletic industries. Its low cost of manufacture, strength, and weight are unmatched making it ideal for creating structures. I will be learning as much as I can about this new composite and the advanced materials market in order to upscale Professor Luo's new material.

What I hope to do after ESTEEM:

I ideally hope to go into the aerospace field working on the forefront of technology.

What I like to do when I'm not working:

Powerlifting, Cooking
