Capstone Project Abstract:
Deoglas is a cognitive technology startup committed to redefining how human cognition is understood and measured. Its flagship product, Qu, is a neurocularity platform that harnesses involuntary eye behaviors to accurately infer users’ cognitive states in real time. This powerful framework holds significant potential to transform a wide range of industries by enhancing both behavioral feedback and organizational efficiency. The capstone project plays a crucial role in advancing these early efforts by identifying near-term B2B use cases and mapping a robust path to market adoption. Furthermore, the project will evaluate the competitive landscape across cognitive assessment, eye-tracking, and neurotechnology. To achieve these objectives, the student will conduct comprehensive research across multiple industries and professional roles, gathering insights to inform strategic decisions and refine Qu’s market positioning.
Why did you choose ESTEEM?
I joined ESTEEM shortly after earning my bachelor's in neuroscience because I wanted to step out of the laboratory and into the world of innovation. By combining my technical mindset with practical business training, my goal was to better understand how scientific breakthroughs become real-world solutions. Furthermore, I knew that being surrounded by peers and mentors who are equally passionate about generating impact would create an environment that would challenge and inspire me to grow.
What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?
After ESTEEM, I hope to transition into the biotech space. My goal is to leverage my strong foundation in research, coupled with my business acumen, to support the development and commercialization of therapeutic technologies. Whether through product development, innovation strategy, or early-stage venture work, I want to contribute to solutions that improve patient outcomes and make advanced treatments more accessible.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I really enjoy producing music! Some of my favorite genres are early hip-hop and UK grime. I also love long distance running and playing soccer when I can.
