Why I chose ESTEEM ?

I caught the entrepreneurship bug late in my engineering undergraduate degree, and I wanted to develop more of the skills necessary to creating and growing startups. I also enjoy the method of learning by applying course material and knowledge to a real project in real-time.

My capstone project and why I'm excited about it?

My capstone project is focused on creating the business plan and go-to-market strategy for an innovative medical device for the treatment of chronic wounds. I am super excited about this project because, as a Biomedical Engineer, I am going to be able to see the business side of medical device development.

What I hope to do after ESTEEM?

After ESTEEM I hope to continue in the medical technology industry in a role that allows me to be involved in the technical and business sides of development of new products.

What I like to do when I'm not working?

I enjoy watching football, basketball and baseball (tortured Arizona sports fan), reading (currently on Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell), and gardening (I have a tomato, a basil, and a mint plant).
