Capstone Project Abstract:

Machinio is a leading global provider of online classified advertising and software solutions for machinery and equipment sellers. The company currently faces a significant challenge where its seller database contains obsolete, incomplete, or duplicate data, partly due to post-COVID consolidation in the industrial equipment sector. The project's primary objective is to conceive and implement a cost-effective and sustainable system for identifying, organizing, and prioritizing sales prospects, ensuring ongoing data accuracy. This will involve analyzing the current database, identifying and experimenting with AI tools to minimize manual data entry and research tasks, and developing a repeatable process for auditing and maintaining data integrity. The secondary goal of the project is to establish reliable methodologies for calculating Machinio's Total Addressable Market (TAM), market penetration metrics, and identify MVP prospects for their service. By addressing these core challenges, the project aims to significantly improve sales organization efficiency, enhance the perceived value for customers, and enable more accurate strategic planning for Machinio's continued global growth.

Why did you choose ESTEEM?

I chose to come to ESTEEM because I view it as a launchpad for a career rooted in service, impact, and ethical innovation. My undergraduate experiences in engineering, consulting, and venture capital taught me the value of combining profitability with purpose, and ESTEEM stood out as a place where I could continue refining these skills with world-class opportunities. I value the program’s competitive, fail-fast structure and the chance to gain a broad spectrum of experience through classroom learning and real-world projects. Most importantly, I’m excited to be part of a community of value-driven professionals who inspire me to continuously evolve into the best version of myself and share a commitment to making an impact.

What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?

After graduation, I plan to pursue a career that allows me to help businesses grow through strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, and a strong understanding of both technology and markets. I’m especially interested in exploring venture capital and consulting opportunities where I can work closely with early-stage or growth-stage companies to guide product development, go-to-market strategies, and operational scale. I’m also drawn to product management positions, where I can contribute to innovative teams bringing new products to the market. No matter the path, I look forward to taking on a role where I can build solutions that create lasting impact for people and their communities.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy learning new skills. From meal prepping to watch making, I’m always excited to try something new. As a drummer, I also love listening and playing music when I have the chance. I’m also an avid journal-er and enjoy kicking back in the evening to catch a movie and plan out my week ahead.
