Capstone Abstract Project:
The Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research, the research arm of Northwell Health, is a leading medical research center known worldwide as a center of excellence for Bioelectronic Medicine, due to early breakthrough discoveries by the President and CEO - Kevin J. Tracey, MD. This capstone project addresses patient monitoring in healthcare settings, which is currently highly labor-intensive and conducted infrequently. This often leads to undetected vital sign changes, delayed interventions, and poorer patient outcomes. The project centers on a novel AI-powered technology designed to transform patient care by providing potentially life-saving, integrated insights directly to clinicians, thereby enabling early intervention. The project encompasses a comprehensive market and competitive analysis, extensive stakeholder interviews, the selection of target markets, development of a go-to-market commercial strategy, and a robust financial plan, focusing on the business model and commercial rollout.
