Why did you choose ESTEEM?

I chose ESTEEM because I wanted to specifically expand my business skills in an environment that focused on students with technical backgrounds. I was personally drawn to ESTEEM because of the curriculum, capstone project, and the endless opportunities that would follow.

What is your Capstone Project and Why are you excited about it?

For my capstone project, I have the honor and privilege of working with Inveniam to enhance the process of microfinance. Through its patented technology and data operating system, Inveniam enables private asset owners and capital markets to meet in the Digital Finance (DEFI) world. One of the biggest problems in the microfinance process is that operators struggle with getting funds, and end up passing costs to the end users in order to stay operational. My capstone project focuses on the use of Inveniam’s data rooms to create transparency in order to entice institutional investors to invest into microfinance institutions.

I am excited to create cost reduction solutions as well as identify liquidity pool solutions to
create program sustainability in the microfinance process. I am extremely motivated to make an impact by improving the ability of underserved communities to receive access to financial services.

What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?

I am currently enjoying everything that the ESTEEM program has to offer. After taking the lessons that I will learn from ESTEEM, I would like to find a role in which I can combine my engineering and business skills to make an impact.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I have been co-hosting a podcast since 2019 called the Biased Opinion Sports Podcast. I also like to golf, ski, and travel in my free time.
