Why did you choose ESTEEM?
I chose ESTEEM because of its blend of technical knowledge and entrepreneurial focus, seeing it as the right place to further my interests in health, sustainability, and the pursuit of truth.
What is your Capstone Project and why are you excited about it?
This capstone project is partnering with Sloan Valve Company, a premier manufacturer of commercial plumbing bathroom components. Commercial buildings account for 13% of total potable water consumption. Sloan, with its advanced water-efficient solutions, plays a pivotal role in addressing this concern. Their commitment to sustainability, combined with their expertise in producing high-performance bathroom fixtures, positions them uniquely in the industry. Sloan's products have the potential to reduce water emissions in commercial settings by up to 30%. The student's primary objective is to identify groundbreaking technology’s Sloan can integrate into their portfolio, further enhancing their commitment to sustainability. By devising a strategic go-to-market plan, the student aims to not only spotlight Sloan's existing solutions, but also introduce potential new technologies. Through comprehensive industry and market research, the goal is to ensure Sloan remains at the forefront of water conservation, safeguarding our most precious resource.
What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?
After ESTEEM, I aspire to pioneer sustainable healthcare solutions that bridge the gap between technology and well-being, aiming to establish a startup that not only innovates but also educates communities about holistic health and environmental responsibility.
What do you like to do in your free time?
When I'm not working I cherish moments with my family and friends. I also enjoy diving into a compelling book while relaxing on a beach, savoring a freshly brewed cup of coffee and soaking up the sun. If I am feeling active I will be out catching waves or you can find me perfecting my swing on the golf course.
