Why did you choose ESTEEM?

I chose ESTEEM because I was looking for a program that would allow me to excel in a variety of future pathways. This program is very hands-on and fast-paced, and I enjoy the challenge environments like this bring. Ultimately, I chose ESTEEM in order to build upon my current business knowledge, enhance my technical skills, and study with some of the smartest minds at the University of Notre Dame. Without a doubt, ESTEEM is the best next step for both my academic and professional careers.

What is your Capstone Project and why are you excited about it?

Get Joy is a direct-to-consumer dog wellness company focused on the wellbeing of dogs and their families. Since their founding in 2019, they have evolved their focus from fresh-food to overall dog wellness, while still emphasizing the importance of nutrition. Their mission is to improve the lives of families through pet health and nutrition. This capstone project includes a go-to-market strategy and research for Get Joy's expansion potential into new markets.

What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?

After ESTEEM, I hope to work in an industry that aligns with both my passions and values. Ideally, this involves working with some component of mental and/or physical wellness, preferably for ballet dancers, in a direct-to-consumer setting. No matter where my future takes me, I am looking to be pushed outside of my comfort zone and know that my work is making a difference in the world.

What do you like to do in your free time?

When I’m not working, you can find me on a run, riding in a Peloton cycling class, spending time with friends, hanging out with my dog and traveling! I am a member of the Notre Dame Ballet Club, as well as our ESTEEM Run Club! As a former professional ballet dancer, being active is very important to me, so I’ll always be moving in one form or another!
