Why I chose ESTEEM ?
I have always had a knack for helping people develop their ideas and business solutions. If there was one place where I could hone this skill and attain a master's degree from an esteemed university, it would be ESTEEM - and that is exactly why I am here!
My capstone project and why I'm excited about it ?
I am executing a go-to-market strategy for Claris, an Apple subsidiary, that relies on Claris Connect, a cloud-based integration service, as an entry into K-12 schools and districts and then enables opportunities to expand the collaboration by bringing Claris FileMaker, a professional low-code platform for building custom applications, into the mix. I am stirred about this project because, aside from it being a major milestone for Claris, I get the opportunity to directly impart K-12 schools and districts in the United States and even globally by helping make them better organized, efficient and productive in their day-to-day operations.
What I hope to do after ESTEEM ?
I look forward to continuing working on the cofounded startup, roboMUA. Promptly after ESTEEM though I am hoping to get into product or project management with a tech firm while I actively find ways to marry my technical skills with social impact in a persistent manner to push change within my immediate community and my homeland Ghana. I will also be actively growing my nonprofit, SpreadAid International.
What I like to do when I'm not working ?
You will most likely catch me coding, dancing, watching stand-up comedy, or a movie. If not, then I am out sharing good vibes with friends.
I consider myself to be 1-part software engineer, 1-part entrepreneur, 2-part philanthropist, 2-part soccer fan, and 1-part dancer.
