Why I chose ESTEEM ?

Coming from an undergraduate education in industrial design, I knew I had a solid grasp on the product development end of entrepreneurship but had no idea what it would take to bring an idea to market. I decided to join the ESTEEM cohort to obtain the unique skill of being able to merge product development and business understandings.

My capstone project and why I'm excited about it ?

For my capstone project I’m working with Scientist.com on a new connective initiative which increases the collaboration and engagement associated with scientific research. Working alongside my sponsor, I am determining a set of best practices, performing competitive analyses, and assisting in the implementation of this online interface into the company’s existing brand.

What I hope to do after ESTEEM ?

After ESTEEM I hope to move into a product development role and would love to work in a smaller business/start-up setting. I’m extremely passionate about building relationships – whether that’s between multiple users, a user and an interface/product, or a user and a company/brand as a whole and would love to work on projects focused on user engagement and/or branding.

What I like to do when I'm not working ?

Whether it’s watching Red Sox games with my parents, playing cards with my grandparents, going up to the lake with my cousins, or finding something to do around town with friends, I’m always looking to surround myself with the people I love most. When everyone is busy, I also love to write, Irish dance, play the piano, and work with children!
