Why did you choose ESTEEM?
I choose ESTEEM because of my biomedical engineering background and would be able to combine technology with engineering. I also liked the idea of a one year program before going in the "real world" and cannot wait to see where this takes me.
What is your Capstone Project and why are you excited about it?
Scientist.com, is the world's leading R&D marketplace that provides science as a service. They streamline the process of matching researchers with external providers of research services and products to enable faster project initiation and cost savings. The project focusing on understanding Scientist.com's value proposition to small biotech companies that have limited or no resources for procurement, legal, and accounting, presenting a great opportunity for Scientist.com to be a large part of the solution. The project will be creating a plan to implement and roll out Scientist.com within small companies that are part of an investment/incubator group.
What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?
My answer is always changing but at the moment, I want to either work in a consulting firm or maybe even a start up in a major city. I am learning it is better to take risks while it is just me and travel and plan because you never know where to might end up! Ideally travel would be cool but that is expensive.
What do you like to do in your free time?
When I am not working, I love to work out with Pure Barre in South Bend, bake, and go on walks on the beautiful lakes of Notre Dame has to offer!
