Why I chose ESTEEM:

I initially thought I wanted to study business, but was put off by how theory-based and corporate traditional business programs felt. When I came across the ESTEEM program I was really attracted to its structure that allows a truly immersive learning experience, and its dedication to helping us build the skills necessary to go out and fix things that matter.

My capstone project and why I'm excited about it:

I will be working with the innovation team at Project Management Institute (PMI), on their product Baseline and possible extension products. Baseline is a free digital education application that helps new project managers learn to effectively lead a project by teaching them the basics of project management and providing useable templates. I'm excited that this project is making project management tools more accessible, understandable, and useable for people of any background, leading to more efficient project work all over the globe.

What I hope t do after ESTEEM:

Prior to ESTEEM I was preparing to become Registered Dietitian, and I am still passionate about the field. My dream is to be able create a career where I can practice both my skills as a Dietitian, and as an entrepreneur. I am still figuring out the specifics, but I'm excited at how many new paths are open to me now that I am part of ESTEEM.

What I like to do when I'm not working:

I spend a lot of my free time watching YouTube videos on DIY, crafts, home makeovers, and dance. Sometimes I'll actually do those things! Also, during the pandemic many of my friends started playing Animal Crossing, but since I don't have a Switch, I got the phone app version and found some joy in that.
