Why I chose ESTEEM:

ESTEEM is a great opportunity to add diversity to my strictly STEM and pre-health background. The implementation of a basic business acumen is something that brought me to the program. Furthermore, the ability to explore entrepreneurship and business opens a whole new set of exciting doors for my future.

My capstone thesis project and why I'm excited about it:

My thesis project is working to help develop a business strategy with circuit based carbon nano-tubule technology to help promote early diagnosis of breast cancer. This technology improves the longevity of those with breast cancer. I'm extremely excited to work on this project because breast cancer is a disease that has hit close to home for me. I'm excited to learn about the technology surrounding these carbon nano-tubule technologies, and I am thrilled to work on a project that can promote the longevity of all those afflicted with breast cancer.

What I hope to do after ESTEEM:

I am looking at a variety of options. One of these is health related consulting. However, I still am also interested in pursuing medical school as another option either after consulting or as an alternative to consulting.

What I like to do when I'm not working:

While ESTEEM keeps me mentally sharp, I like to exercise and play sports to stay physically balanced. I also love being around the water and doing things like boating, scuba diving, and wake boarding.
