Why did you choose ESTEEM?

I chose ESTEEM because it both fueled my passion to help individuals reach their full potential and fulfilled my need to create innovative solutions to complex real-world problems. ESTEEM allows me to utilize my love of science to create valuable solutions that address the challenges of an ever-changing world. It also allows me the opportunity to apply my diverse skill set, both within the classroom and beyond.

What is your Capstone Project and why are you excited about it?

Coast Southwest is a chemical distribution and manufacturing company that is focused on connecting suppliers to manufacturers and formulators. They are dedicated to delivering top-quality ingredients to their customers promptly. For this capstone project the student will closely collaborate with Coast Southwest to deliver an enhanced and more engaging customer experience. The aim is to optimize their operation and revolutionize the entire industry by utilizing novel and unique opportunities available. This project will provide Coast Southwest with invaluable insights from stakeholder interviews, which will serve as the foundation when prototyping potential opportunities and developing a comprehensive go-to-market plan to optimize their operation.

What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?

After ESTEEM, I aspire to secure a pivotal role in either product design for a company like IDEO so that I can focus on innovating or potentially create my own startup. My overall main goal after ESTEEM though is to continue innovating with a sense of purpose, and specifically directing my efforts towards serving and empowering those who need it the most to make a meaningful impact.

What do you like to do in your free time?

When I am not working, I love to play golf, workout at the gym, and cook new recipes.
