Why did you choose ESTEEM?

I chose ESTEEM because it provided an opportunity for my passions of product design and product development to coexist. The ESTEEM program gave me the tools to better explore my passions and possibilities in the startup world.

What is your Capstone Project and why are you excited about it?

Vital View Technologies is a Notre Dame spin-out focused on the commercialization of novel discoveries in Radio Frequency (RF) Polarization Mode Dispersion (PMD), patented by Dr. Thomas Pratt. Currently Vital Views’ technologies have been developed for emergence in the regulated healthcare market; however, the potential industries are expansive. This capstone project will take a dive into the possible market opportunities in wellness, exercise, and performance for Vital View’s technologies. Throughout the market analysis, focus will be on the current performance and exercise practices that can further be developed using Vital View’s RF PMD technologies, as well as potential gaps that can be filled by these technologies in the market. Furthermore, throughout the market research specific market needs and product potential will be identified by engaging collegiate, professional and non-professional stakeholders. The end goal is to construct a vigorous commercialization application strategy for the wellness, exercise, and performance market with lead go-to-market product candidates.

What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?

After ESTEEM I am hoping to further explore the cross section between my two passions as a collegiate athlete and an electrical engineer, through potential roles in sports and sports tech.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time I love playing sports with my cohort or supporting Notre Dame athletics. I also love playing and listening to music with friends.
