Why I chose ESTEEM:

I chose ESTEEM because it offers the ability to continue using my STEM background while learning how to apply it in an entrepreneurial and innovative way to try and solve problems that matter.

My capstone project and why I'm excited about it:

I am working with Amicus Therapeutics, a biotechnology company focused on discovering and developing therapies for patients with rare diseases. I will be working on prioritizing the gene therapy portfolio for lysosomal storage disorders to help guide future investment and research decisions. I am incredibly excited to work on this project and with Amicus because they are striving to create lifesaving therapies for patients with few options.

What I hope to do after ESTEEM:

After ESTEEM, I hope to work for a company that is at the forefront of innovation and striving to make an impact. I'm not yet sure if that will take the form of a large company or a start-up but I'm excited to see where the year takes me!

What I like to do when I'm not working:

I love to cook and try to make things from complete scratch - I'm currently working on mastering homemade ravioli! I also love running (I'm currently training for my first half-marathon) and jumping into a pickup game of soccer whenever I can.

And, finally:

If you're a prospective student or just curious about what ESTEEM is, definitely feel free to reach out!
