Why did you choose ESTEEM?
I strive to inspire underrepresented and marginalized people by providing them access to quality education in technology. I knew that being in ESTEEM would allow me access to the necessary resources and education needed to investigate ways I could utilize innovation, science, and technology entrepreneurship to fuel my passion.
What is your Capstone Project and why are you excited about it?
Claris will focus on the ‘developer’ stakeholder persona to learn how it can leverage AI to best support this persona. The interviews will be conducted to provide quality research and recommendations that Claris International Inc. can use to improve its offering to its customers. Claris International Inc. is the creator of the world's leading low-code development platform, offering a suite of services that drives digital transformation in companies from every business sector. Best known for its FileMaker app development solution, the company has more than one million active users globally across SMBs and the Fortune 500. Claris has a history of empowering developers to be successful at what they do best: solve critical problems by giving them a platform that handles complex tasks their users need efficiently and affordably.
What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?
After ESTEEM, I aim to be a driving force for creating equity and diversity in the technology industry. My end goal is to bring about awareness of the importance of education technology by serving the marginalized youth so they can see their untapped potential.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love writing songs, performing poetry, and dancing when I'm not working
I just want to have an impact on this world while doing what I love, which is sharing knowledge
