Why did you choose ESTEEM?

I chose ESTEEM because it presented me with the opportunity to take my experience with entrepreneurship to the next level. This is important since entrepreneurs and innovators make significant impacts in their local economy.

What is your Capstone Project and why are you excited about it?

Johnson Controls offers the world’s largest portfolio of building technology and software as well as service solutions from some of the most trusted names in the industry. The Business Intelligence capstone project with Johnson Controls, is focused on creating comprehensive market and competitive intelligence for the Building Automation Systems (BAS) team. Given Johnson Control's expansive portfolio of software, hardware, and services, it is important to understand both the competition and market trends. This project seeks to combine primary and secondary research to make data-backed decisions and recommendations. The BAS industry is not a mature market yet, and it contains an enormous amount of innovation and oligopolistic tendencies, which results in the need for a macro and micro analysis of the Industry.

What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?

After ESTEEM I want to become a mentor for entrepreneurs by helping them from the startup phase to the scale up phase. My goal with this is to create real local economic impact and encourage entrepreneurs to give back to their locality.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time I enjoy expanding my tastes in music and creating 3D art.
