Why I chose ESTEEM:

I chose ESTEEM because it was the perfect intersection of business, engineering, science and technology. After completing a biology degree I worked for two tech startups where I found a passion for business and sales strategy. ESTEEM allows me to utilize my background in science while also exploring my new interest in business.

My capstone project and why I am excited about it:

For my project with Liquidity Services Asset Management I will be developing a new eCommerce marketplace platform for businesses to trade, purchase, and sell surplus assets. This project will give me a deep dive into product design and development with a focus on user-interface improvements, development of competitive pricing models, user research analysis, and product roadmap design for key features. Currently I am synthesizing a product design plan that incorporates a variety of cutting edge features to provide an unmatched online asset management experience.

What I hope to do after ESTEEM:

After ESTEEM I hope to work in product development for a consumer product health-tech startup. Some areas of interest are health/wellness applications, wearable sports technology, and general biometric tracking products.

What I like to do when I’m not working:

Go on runs with my sweet pup Nate, soccer, dabble in new coding languages, and short film cinematography.

And, finally:

ESTEEM has been great for me because it has given me the space to explore my interest in product design with actual hands-on industry experience through my Capstone project.
