Why did you choose ESTEEM?
I chose ESTEEM because it allowed me to apply the skills I learned during my undergrad and leverage them toward making meaningful changes. With hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to cutting-edge technologies, I’m excited to be a part of a program that will provide me with the tools necessary to create a lasting impact.
What is your Capstone Project and why are you excited about it?
Glen Dimplex is a global leader in heating and ventilation, flame, precision cooling, and consumer appliances. Their portfolio of products and solutions span the living and working environment, all created with a simple and shared mindset of empowering daily life. As a company, Glen Dimplex's purpose is to be a leader in the transition to a sustainable world. This Capstone project aims to identify potential markets for introducing patented electric outdoor living products into their current product range. This presents an exciting opportunity for them to be leaders in the adoption of electric grills and significantly reduce the carbon footprint associated with grilling.
What do you hope to do after ESTEEM?
After ESTEEM, I hope to work in a role that will allow me to have hands-on experience in product development. I would like to be in an innovative environment, where I can contribute to the creation of products that will leave a positive impact on people’s lives.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I like to bake, spend time with friends and family, and travel when possible!
