Why I chose ESTEEM:

I felt frustrated with the conventional route that I had planned for myself. I wanted a life/career where I can think creatively, be innovative, and really push myself out of my comfort zone. ESTEEM challenges me to think differently, and is driving me to exceed what I thought I was capable of.

My capstone project and why I'm excited about it:

I am working with PWR, an early start-up that is creating a space for pre-collegiate female athletes to develop both physically and mentally. I am excited to empower young girls to be strong, and to develop a community where our female centered program will prevent injury and increase strength.

What I hope to do after ESTEEM:

I am very interested in being apart of the start-up community. I have a strong passion for both environmental and public health issues, and I will continue to explore ideas surrounding these issues throughout this year.

What I like to do when I'm not working:

I enjoy reading existential fiction that challenges me to think in a unique way. I love listening to alternative punk music, if I could be at concerts every weekend I would be. I'm also really into strategy board games and outdoor activities.

And, finally:

My advice is to listen, carefully, to what makes you happy. Life is short, and making the most of our time is so important. Cheers.
