What are you enjoying most about ESTEEM?
DK: I like addressing open questions instead of trying to get correct answers that already exist.
KW: The fast-paced ESTEEM student culture of learning and innovating, and the resources I have been connected with through ND Student Entrepreneurship programs to push my dreams into reality!
What is something you’ve learned this year?
DK: I've learned that trust is as important in business as it is anywhere else. Personal interactions are powerful.
KW: Entrepreneurship isn't some black box of business voodoo, it's just the cycle of learning and iterating as fast and efficiently as possible.
What is something you want to do before graduating?
DK: I want to help a product go from idea to first sale or investment.
KW: I want to launch my start-up with a couple fellow ESTEEM students.
Any words of advice to undergraduate students?
DK: When considering grad schools and/or jobs, reach out to people in the positions you're considering and ask questions. People love to share!
KW: Devote time each day for 1 year intensely focusing on one thing you are passionate about or want to get good at, and you'll be amazed at where you'll be after that 1 year.
