Current Student Jada Davis ’25 Discusses Transitioning into ESTEEM with a Non-STEM Background and her Capstone Experience

Author: ESTEEM

Jada Davis is currently a part of the ESTEEM Class of 2025. She takes the time to share her experience transitioning into a graduate program straight out of undergrad, learning how her background relates to entrepreneurship, and about her capstone project. Before ESTEEM, Jada completed her undergraduate degree in industrial design with a minor in anthropology from the University of Notre Dame. As a “double-domer,” Jada mentions the great support system she has found at the University and the joy she finds in being able to introduce her classmates to the Notre Dame family and its many traditions.

Coming to ESTEEM from a non-traditional STEM background, Jada's growth and success in the program demonstrates that there are many definitions of what makes someone an entrepreneur or innovator. She encourages you to consider ESTEEM, sharing that "if you are passionate about innovation and discovery then you should consider ESTEEM because it allows you to learn about yourself, learn about business, and explore things you’re passionate about.”
